Bitronix on Ubuntu server V12 w/Tomcat7 issue

Eric Snyder
I am following instructions here. Tomcat will not start when I get to the instructions for Bitronix.

Here are the instructions for reference:
Edit server.xml (sudo nano /etc/tomcat7/server.xml) and add:
Listener declaration after existing listeners: <Listener className="bitronix.tm.integration.tomcat55.BTMLifecycleListener" ></Listener>
Add Valve declaration after existing Valve: <Valve className="org.bonitasoft.console.security.SessionFixationValve" authenticationUrl="/loginservice"></Valve>

I carefully followed the directions and started Tomcat7 at every step. This is the step that it fails at. I get the following error:

As has been said on the bonita support forum, ClassNotFoundException: bitronix.tm.TransactionManagerServices definitely means you don't have the BTM jar on the Tomcat classpath.

You can have a look at the official BTM documentation to see how we recommend integrating it in Tomcat, that may help you: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/BTM/Tomcat2x
